How to Add Products on Shopify

Adding products to your Shopify store is quick and easy:

  1. Log in to Shopify and go to your Shopify Admin.

  2. Select Products from the left-hand menu.

  3. Click Add product.

  4. Enter your product information, including:

    • Product title

    • Description

    • Product images or videos

    • Price and compare-at price

    • Cost per item, if required

    • SKU and barcode

    • Inventory quantity

    • Shipping information and weight

    • Product variants such as size or colour

  5. Assign the product to the relevant category, collections, vendor, and tags.

  6. Under Search engine listing, review your SEO page title and description.

  7. Check that the correct sales channels are selected, such as your Online Store.

  8. Set the product status to Active when you're ready for customers to see it.

  9. Click Save.
